Individual Psychotherapy for Adults

A strong and collaborative therapeutic relationship is essential in creating trust and vulnerability. In fostering this rapport, I believe one can truly develop the skills and interpersonal connection that can be used to challenge oneself and create lasting change.

 

I approach therapy from a behavioral lens, but I utilize an eclectic approach informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Analyzing one’s core values, developing mindfulness and awareness skills, and identifying maladaptive thought and behavioral patterns are all essential features of my practice. These features can then be used to move an individual towards their goals while reinforcing positive and more adaptive behaviors.
